Superintendent George A. Martin have been pastor of Greater Victory Church of God in Christ for the past 12 years, member for the past 31 years and celebrating his 41st year in ministry. Pastor George Martin has performed over 100 marriage ceremonies, counseled many couples and families, Pastor Martin along with his wife Ida are the founders of Couples for Christ Partners for Life Ministry now in it's 18th year.
Since pastoring this thriving church he has founded various new ministries such as Brothers for Christ a Men's fellowship, consolation ministry, visiting the sick and shut in, Singles, Gospel Hands (sign language), Kingdom Kids Club, tutoring programs and many more. Pastor Martin has served as an Evangelist for over 30 years and has a heart for souls. He has many gifts which include prophetic ministry, music, administration, and is a visionary. He hails from Miami Florida where he received his early ministerial training. He has traveled extensively across the United States and several countries of the world.
He serves in California Southern Third on the Bishops Executive Board and is an instructor on the Jurisdictional Ordination Board. He is the founder and Superintendent of the Bountiful Blessing District for the past three years. He is a spirit-led sought after speaker and respected among his peers.
Pastor Martin has several college degrees and certificates. His educational background includes: graduate of Miami Central High School, distinguished graduate of his class in the United States Army, graduate of San Bernardino Valley College with two Associate in Arts Degrees in Sociology and Liberal Studies. He holds certificates from Control Data Institute in Computer Technology, as well as in Bible Doctrines from C.H. Mason Bible College. He has studied Sociology and Psychology at California State University, San Bernardino.
Pastor George Martin is married to the lovely and talented Ida Martin for 34 years. They have five children; George II, Dalton, Evelyn, Chrystal, and Keilah who are all actively serving in ministry at Greater Victory. Pastor and Mrs. Martin are the owners of 6MAR Enterprises and Ida's Baskets and Things. He is an anointed vessel, mentor, leader, and visionary.
